Docusign
otherOverview
The DocuSign connector puts legally valid e-signatures inside RunMyProcess workflows. A process can send an envelope for signature, check its status and list its documents, so a contract, an onboarding form or an approval moves on as soon as it is signed, without anyone chasing signatures by email.
Signing becomes a step with a clear state: the workflow sends the envelope, waits for completion, follows up when it stalls and retrieves the signed documents to file them with the case. That gives legal, HR and procurement a single, auditable record of who signed what and when.
Common use cases
- Send a contract for signature as soon as its commercial and legal approvals are complete.
- Check the envelope status and send a reminder, or escalate, when a signature is overdue.
- Collect signed onboarding documents for new employees, customers or suppliers.
- File the signed documents with the case and record the signature in the audit trail.

Frequently asked questions
What can the Docusign connector do in a RunMyProcess workflow?
+
It sends an envelope for signature, checks the status of an envelope and lists the documents an envelope contains. Each operation is a step of the process, with the signers and documents taken from the case.
Can the workflow wait until a document is signed?
+
Yes. The process sends the envelope, uses Get Envelope Status to check where it stands, and moves on to the next step, such as activation, filing or invoicing, only once the signature is complete.
Where does the signed document go afterwards?
+
List Documents returns the documents in the envelope, so the workflow can attach them to the case record and hand them to the step that archives them or notifies the people involved.
