Entity Extraction finds the names that matter in a text, such as people, places and organizations, and returns them as data a RunMyProcess workflow can use. Instead of someone reading a contract or a letter to note who and where, the process extracts it and fills in the case.
You can define your own entity types for the terms your business cares about, such as product codes, policy numbers or project names. The service also maps the relationships between entities and takes the surrounding context into account, so the result reflects how the names relate to each other in the text, not just a list of words.
